In 2019 Georgia launched the Best Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA) within the framework of the World Bank – European Union joint project – Georgia Financial Inclusion and Accountability, in partnership with the RSF.

The inaugural award ceremony was held on  December 17 at the National Library of Georgia, attended by distinguished guests from the domestic and international business and regulatory community, consulting and audit firms and media, where the Georgian listed companies with exemplary reporting and transparent practice received recognition.

Given the success of the first year of the competition, it was decided to repeat the competition every year.
