A partnership has been signed between 'Meliora of the Georgian Responsible Business Competition' and the Best Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA).
The Meliora competition is held by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), with the support of the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS). Meliora annually identifies and awards companies operating in Georgia that implement excellent, inspiring, and exemplary projects and initiatives in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR), and companies that strive to change Georgia for the better.
Reporting and Transparency Award (BARTA) will be the supporter of the Meliora category of the Georgia Responsible Business Competition: "Transparency and Reporting on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Issues", and Meliora, in turn, will be the supporter of BARTA's "Best Sustainability Report" category.
As part of the partnership between Georgia's Responsible Business Awards Meliora and BARTA, companies that apply to participate in BARTA will have a unique opportunity to attend Meliora's annual masterclass. Meliora's master class precedes the awards ceremony and is usually reserved for companies participating in the competition. The master class is led by members of the international jury of the Award, who are leading and outstanding experts in the field of corporate responsibility and sustainability. They share their knowledge and experience with the participants about what responsible and sustainable business means and how responsible approaches can be used to achieve business success, what are the current trends and approaches in the field of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
The implementing organizations of BARTA and Meliora also agree to cooperate in the implementation of sustainable development reporting in Georgia and to inform and support companies on this issue.
